The principal business of Coal Energy is mining, beneficiation and sale of thermal and coking coal. The Group mines and sells thermal coal grades, coking coals and dual-purpose coals.

Commencement of Operations in the Spanish Market
The Board of Directors of Coal Energy S.A. (the “Company” or the “Issuer”) announces the commencement of operational activities aimed at expansion of Company’s business into the Spanish market.
The Company has begun assembling a project team and has initiated the administrative procedures required to register a special-purpose company in Spain under the name Ecoforge Energy S.L., which will become part of the Issuer’s corporate group.
Amendment to the Investment Framework Agreement regarding private placement of the Company’s shares

(the “Issuer” or the “Company”), with reference to Current Report No. 22/2026 dated 2 July 2026 concerning the Investment Framework Agreement entered into with LYNX OVERSEAS CONSULTING CY LTD (the “Investor”), hereby informs that the Company and the Investor entered into Amendment Agreement No. 1 to the Investment Framework Agreement dated 30 June 2026 (the “Amendment Agreement”).
